Ready, Set, Take Action!

Difficult workplace interactions are, by their nature, difficult. However, the better you get at handling them, the fewer of them you’ll have. As our mothers always told us, practicing is the only way to get better at anything. We can help you do that in a safe and fun way.

Using a dynamic combination of theatrical exercises, games, and improvisation, we help teams reflect on solutions to workplace misunderstandings surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion. In this interactive theater workshop, participants become an ensemble with the power to change their workplace dynamic for the better, for good. Fun and visceral learning at its best!

How It Works

Participants will confront a real-life problem as both spectators and actors using Forum Theater and Interactive Theater techniques. Two highly trained professional actors/facilitators will lead the group through an entertaining and educational performance including:

  • An introduction and icebreaker game that will start getting us prepped while fostering unity and community
  • A live, dynamic, and highly charged improvised scene relating to DE&I issues
  • Active reflection and discussion from all participants about the issues and feelings generated by the scene
  • Ample opportunities for participants to have their voices and opinions heard
  • A replay of the scene with alternate solutions facilitated by the participants

A form of interactive theater, forum theater is often related to areas of social justice with the goal of exploring solutions to oppression and inequality. By engaging in realistic scenarios, participants can better understand how to tackle and address these issues in their real lives.

Includes

  • Pre-show diagnostic sent to team contact/leader
  • Two highly trained professional actor/facilitators
  • Zoom link
